4 Day Class

This course is intended for experienced NC programmers that are new to NX CAM. The class will accelerate the understanding of creating tool paths for 2 and 3 axis milling/drilling centers within NX. Other cutting and non-cutting motions will be explored. The class also addresses the creation and post processing of NX operations.

Upon completion of this course, accomplished Programmers will have the capability to create/modify and output verified 3 axis NC programs for milling machines. The pace and topics of this course have been carefully planned specifically for the experienced NC programmer.

3 Day Class

This course is intended to provide CAM customization options to the NC programmer. This class will show the user how to get the most usage out of NX by introducing the user to topics which will allow the NX system to be automated to a much higher level.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to add new cutting tools, cutting tool materials, part libraries, and new machining methods. You will also acquire the ability to create new template fields files and configure the NX output for shop documentation. Finally, the user will become proficient with automating FMB (Feature Based Machining) to significantly decrease the time spent creating tool paths.
