Sales Development Representative

Swoosh Technologies is looking for a high energy, motivated, self-starter to join the sales and marketing team. The ideal Sales Development Representative is responsible for engaging and qualifying prospective customers through a variety of traditional and modern techniques and is focused on driving the sales pipeline into opportunity for the sales organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate a sales pipeline by connecting with prospective customers as they begin their buyer’s journey
  • Prospect/qualify Marketing Qualified Leads into Sales Qualified Leads in collaboration with the Sales Director and Territory Sales Managers
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets
  • Publish marketing campaigns and follow up post-event with generated prospects using traditional and modern prospecting techniques, including email, LinkedIn, cold calling, networking, and other sources
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing events and activities
  • Discover buyer needs and budget while providing product information, features, and benefits to prospect
  • Research and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of products and industries served and articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • At least 1+ year of experience in sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Research products continuously for effective sales and marketing efforts
  • Comfortable, persistent and gracious on teleprospecting calls
  • Self-starter, quick learner and good listener
  • Able to work in a team as well as independent environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, preferred but not required
